Tony Federico is the host of the Paleo Magazine Radio podcast and author of “Paleo Grilling – A Modern Caveman’s Guide to Cooking with Fire”. He learned to cook by sitting on the kitchen counter and watching his mom, an original “health nut” who made sure that there was a healthy home-cooked meal on the table every night. Later, Tony earned his degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida and went on to become a personal trainer, helping hundreds of clients, from professional athletes to paraplegics, reach their fitness goals. When he adopted the Paleo lifestyle, he realized that it offered him the opportunity to combine his two loves, fitness and food, and he hasn’t looked back since.
He believes in the innate intelligence and logic of the body and thinks that restoring health is a matter of working with, not against, our biology. His writing has been featured in publications such as WOD Talk and Paleo Magazine and he has been a speaker and panelist at The Ancestral Health Symposium as well as Paleo f(x).
